Our History
Times
Group Corporation was founded in 1985, when it began with custom-built
homes in North York, Ontario. It soon expanded to pursue commercial
development opportunities, focusing on commercial condominiums for full
ownership.
Between
1987 and 1996, Times Group directed its development plans in commercial
plazas between Bayview Ave and Leslie Street at Highway 7. Each project
was executed with uncompromising standards and a focus on client needs,
offering customized solutions.
In
1994, only three construction cranes perforated the skyline of the
Greater Toronto area. Two of them belonged to Times Group. New
developments in the GTA had come to a standstill, yet Times Group
forged ahead with confidence during uncertain times. The ten-story,
80-unit Hycrest was the only condominium built in North York.
At
the dawn of the new millennium, the Times Group concentrated less on
commercial real estate and turned its expertise to the creation of over
10 exquisitely designed condominium residences located in the Toronto
downtown core, North York, Richmond Hill and Markham.
With
the 2009 scheduled completion of the ‘Majestic Court’ in Markham, The
Times Group has shown not only its flare for the design of the ultimate
in luxury lifestyles but also confirmed its commitment to
environmentally sustainable development by building the first LEED
certified residential condominium in Markham, a crowning testament to
the company’s dedication to both the environment and the community.
